This role is contingent upon contract award. The applicant will run the technical platforms behind this contract's training and technical assistance work, and you will make sure everything the contract produces works for people with disabilities. The work covers three areas: producing webinars and e-learning courses, maintaining the contract's websites and databases, and reviewing every deliverable for accessibility before it goes out.

This role supports the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Training and Technical Assistance contract, a federal award from the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) that trains and supports Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) and Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) grant recipients across the country.
What You Will Do
Webinars and virtual learning:
  • Run webinars that hold 300 to 500 participants, with live polling and surveys.
  • Build the agenda and slide materials for up to 12 webinars a year.
  • Design e-learning courses of one hour or less with input from subject matter experts.
  • Produce the live stream for the opening and closing sessions of the annual national meeting.
Web and database work:
  • Maintain the existing grant tracking platform, built on the .NET framework, with data in SQL Server and hosted on Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Maintain the performance measurement database and its reporting features.
  • Maintain the community-of-practice websites and support the annual meeting's online registration system.
Accessibility review:
  • Review every tip sheet, webinar, e-learning course, and web page for accessibility before it goes out.
  • Prepare accessibility conformance documentation for deliverables.
  • Keep accessibility remediation records up to date.
Minimum Qualifications (Please do not apply if you do not meet any one of these requirements)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Four or more years of combined experience across web or database development, virtual training or webinar production, and digital accessibility review.
  • Direct hands-on experience with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and Internet Information Services (IIS), or an equivalent modern web and database stack.
  • Working knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Working knowledge of a webinar platform with polling, survey, and attendance-tracking features for 300 or more participants.
  • Experience preparing a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).
  • Three or more years producing webinars or virtual training at enterprise scale (300 or more concurrent participants).
What Helps
  • Experience maintaining a legacy .NET / SQL Server application.
  • Trusted Tester or International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) certification.
  • Instructional design credential or coursework.
  • Federal system hosting experience, or Security+ / Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.This role is contingent upon contract award.
